When you move or renovate or reorganize, items will not be laid out as they once were. Especially in the kitchen, and before you unpack, use stickies to map out where everything will go. You can easily move them around as you finalize your plans.

Then leave them up so you - and others with whom you live - can get to know where things are now kept.
