Welcome to the official Facebook of the Oradell Volunteer Fire Department (OFD). Located in Oradell, New Jersey, the OFD has been providing fire and rescue services since 1897 to the borough. We are made up of nearly 60 dedicated professional volunteers, responding to approximately 300-400 calls a year including alarms, fires, accidents, rescue incidents, and public service requests, day or night.

🚨🔥 Working Fire – Paramus🔥🚨
Earlier this evening, Tower 21 responded to a working structure fire on Cloverdale Avenue in Paramus as the FAST Team. A FAST Team, or Firefighter Assist and Search Team, is a dedicated crew staged outside the building whose sole responsibility is to be ready to immediately rescue any firefighter who becomes trapped, injured, or disoriented inside the structure.

🥎 OFD Softball – 2026 Season Recap 🥎
Well, another season is in the books. It was a tough season. We will leave it at that.
A few honorable mentions before we close out the year:
📣 To those who got injured this season – your sacrifice will not be forgotten.
📣To those who risked their lives keeping spectators and other sports enthusiasts off the field – true heroes, both on and off the diamond.
📣And a special shoutout to everyone who attempted to run the GameChanger app this season. The score and inning may forever be a mystery.
As Former Team Owner, Manager, and Conditioning Coach Asst. Chief James Moretti always says, “We did not lose games, we just ran out of innings. All season long. You cannot teach heart, and this team has plenty of it. You can however teach catching, throwing, and hitting. We should look into that.”
They say it is not about winning, it is about having fun. See everyone at spring training.
