Just because your surgical timeline says you can start running doesn’t mean your body is ready for it.

Before returning to running after ACL surgery, you need adequate quad and calf strength, as well as the ability to properly absorb and control forces through the surgical leg.

Here are a few of my favorite exercises to help athletes build the strength and resilience they need before getting back to running. 🏃‍♀️
