bara, Gregory and Maggie. Joe got his start cooking over 25 years ago with a concrete block pit he built himself in the back yard. Since then, he has mastered the art of barbeque and now cooks on a custom built 21 ft. catering trailer that features two chicken cookers, beef pit cooker, cutting station and hot box. Joe's business partner, Jeanene Higbie, is also a native of Otsego County having grown up in nearby Wells Bridge. Jeanene brings a wealth of experience to the business having worked for more than 40 years in the food and beverage industry including restaurants and catering. Smokin Joe's Barbeque is here to serve your private events including weddings, family reunions, graduations, corporate events, etc. We work with a number of local venues including farms, breweries, event venues, and more!
