So many favorite adventures in New York. Fingerlakes, Adirondacks, Catskills, The Allegheny’s , so many state Parks, lakes, hikes, shops and don’t forget the food!! Letchworth State Park is a stunner with its gorgeous waterfalls and hikes, but, for me, I have Many memories camping with my kids at Gilbert Lake and so it is my favorite .

Star Wars Day 2026 is coming next week to the Worcester Wieting Theatre! Join us Sunday, May 3rd 2026 for our annual celebration of this galactic franchise.
Here's the schedule of events:
Doors open 12pm
Classic Star Wars Episode 1pm
Panel discussion with Pat Ives, the Star Wars Lady 1:30pm
The Empire Strikes Back 2pm
Costume contest and trivia in between showings.
Films are shown in partnership with the Worcester Schenevus Library.

Photos from my recent trip to 9 national parks, that ended up being 12. I stumbled into an air balloon practice in Mexican Hat where the gas station attendant told me they’d be doing the real show in Valley of the Gods where I’d slept the night before , managed to snag the sunrise photo at Mesa Arch I’ve been wanting since I was like 12…. Only took me 50 years to get it but I got it on my first try. Lucky me! It was a good few days indeed! LOL
A day in Rome Italy is just not enough …
