Our elementary classroom and carver Frank Marchand built our first dugout canoe, which our children and parents named sp̓ʔaxʷítkʷ (sparkling water). In collaboration with Nature Immersion, we paddled it across sw̓əlck (Omak Lake) this week. It was an epic adventure which brought lots of beautiful experiences, lessons and memories.
