This last year has offered Makr great opportunities to work with students in our classroom and summer camps., like J and his mom from one of our robotics camps this summer. At the camp he learned the basics of C++ and built his first robot, which he thoroughly enjoyed. His mom was so impressed by his demonstration and was thrilled to see what he had learned in the few hours at camp.

Join us for an open house Sunday November 16th from 3pm to 5pm, as we hear more stories from the first year and a half of Makr and walk through the new space! Come and go as you please, light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

We had the privilege of getting to teach 18 3rd-5th graders about robotics. They learned about circuits, 3D printing, and parts of a robot all while creating their very own CardBot.

Our small group of volunteers made it happen, encouraging the kids, troubleshooting, and bringing such a fun energy to the time.
