The NUCCA Spinal Correction can help your body work better no matter what type of health problem you may have. NUCCA stands for the National Upper Cervical (upper neck) Chiropractic Association. Our organization is dedicated to correcting the Atlas Subluxation Complex which is a misalignment of the bone structure of the head and neck. This misalignment can block the communication between your brain and body causing pain, stress, and tension. This stress and tension can affect all physical and even mental activity of the body. Drummond received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating cm laude. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Drummond was a high school guidance counselor and science teacher. He is also a Veteran who served our country in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Robert L. Sherrick II became interested in chiropractic after talking to three chiropractors in his wife’s family. He valued the ability to help people, without drugs or surgery and their side effects. After graduating from UNO with a B.S. in biology; he went to Davenport, IA to study at Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Spinal Balance performs a thorough history and analysis of every patient to determine if an atlas misalignment is present. Once determined that there is a misalignment effecting the bodies communication systems, x-rays will be taken followed by a very specific analysis of the upper cervical area. At this point, our doctors are able to perform the NUCCA adjustment to the atlas which is a very gentle, painless, and very specific adjustment to the top of the neck. There is no twisting, or popping of the neck. Previous neck trauma is normally not a contraindication to NUCCA care. Many symptoms can be relieved with the NUCCA Spinal Correction of the atlas subluxation complex. NUCCA care has had positive results with such conditions as follows:
