Team members from CQuence Health and our flagship portfolio company, Cassling, recently assembled food bags for The Teen Center, Completely KIDS and Heart Ministry Center. These local incredible and hardworking organizations are on the front lines of supporting our youth and families who are facing food insecurity.

Coming together to support these nonprofits is one way we can help meet this essential need while strengthening the foundation of better health in Omaha and beyond. We’re grateful for the opportunity to play a small role in supporting their work.

This week, the Steel Works Health Accelerator’s inaugural cohort hit a key milestone: the mid-point pitch review.

Founders stepped into the room with openness and left with actionable insights they can immediately apply as they build towards their final pitch in June. The focus wasn’t on judging, it was on refining and improving.

A huge thank you to the mentors, advisors and operators who showed up to provide honest feedback. Your presence was a defining part of this experience and the diverse perspectives you brought will help strengthen each team’s approach.

We also felt the strength of the Nebraska startup community in the room. The energy and genuine willingness to help these teams grow is what makes this ecosystem special. Thanks to UNeMed Corporation and UNeTech Institute for making this possible.

The cohort has made great progress, and we’re excited to continue the momentum as we look towards the program’s graduation event in June!
