Training hard? Don't forget to recover smart. 🏋️♂️
If you’re hitting the gym this February, remember that your muscles are only as good as the fascia supporting them. High-impact workouts and heavy lifting can cause connective tissue to tighten over time, leading to restricted range of motion and potential injury.
Mobility Rolfing helps reset your body’s alignment so you can squat deeper, run further, and recover faster. Let’s make sure your "hardware" is working as well as your "software."

If you have a squeaky floorboard in your house, do you just oil the board, or do you check if the foundation is shifting?
In Rolfing, we have a saying: "Where you think it is, it ain't." Often, that nagging neck pain or tight lower back is actually the victim, not the criminal. It’s working overtime because another part of your body, maybe your ankles, your pelvis, or even your ribcage, isn't carrying its weight.
The "Bottom-Up" Connection: Your body is a masterpiece of compensation. If your feet aren't hitting the ground evenly, your pelvis shifts to balance you. Then your spine curves to keep your eyes level. By the time you feel "tightness" in your shoulders, it's just the end of a long chain of events!
Try this today: Next time your neck feels stiff, don't just rub your traps.
Try this:
1. Grab a tennis ball or lacrosse ball.
2. Roll out the bottom of your feet (the plantar fascia) for 1 minute per side.
3. Stand up, take a deep breath, and re-check your neck.
You might be surprised to find that your "neck" problem was actually a "foot" problem all along! 🦶✨
