The Significant Storyteller

Many of you have already heard that my dad went home to be with Jesus unexpectedly a week and a half ago.

I took this photo of my parents in front of their home a few years ago. My dad wasn’t always a fan of being in front of the camera, but he appreciated the photos I captured of his grandkids. I’m so thankful we convinced him to take this picture in front of our home where we grew up, laughed, cried, and made countless memories.

I had it on my heart that I’ve wanted to do more memory making sessions all year and this photo has confirmed why. As you plan your next photoshoot this spring or fall, don’t overlook the beauty of your own home. It might just be the dreamiest location of all. A photo you look back on that will bring tears to your eyes like this photo does for me.
