Meet another one of our stellar summer students!
Hi, my name is Jack and I’m from Lincoln, Nebraska. I just finished my 1st year of medical school here at UNMC and have been working in the lab this summer as part of the MSSRP program. I have enjoyed learning how to trace hippocampal subfields, how to operate TMS, and much more. It has also been great getting to know the lab with the help of Fun Lunches and Coneflower. When I’m not in the lab I enjoy playing sports, watching movies, and reading.

Meet Patricia! She is one of our incredible summer students!
Hello! I'm from Blair, NE. I received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a MS in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. This past year, I completed my first year of medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. This summer I'm participating in the MSSRP program and through this program I get to do research with the WNL. Since starting at the WNL, I've learned how to administer TMS and trace the subfields of the hippocampus. In the future I hope to either become a Neurologist or an Otolaryngologist. Outside of the lab I love spending time with my dog, Mr. Biscuits, going on hikes, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
