Gardening in the era of climate change is no small feat! Each season brings a new challenge. Here in the PNW, you're likely wondering about how to handle the hot summer droughts, and perhaps the downpours of cold drawn-out springs. Understanding your soil is key to both!

Join us on Wednesday, July 1st to learn about at-home soil tests and how to understand and improve the conditions in your garden. We'll also discuss irrigation, heat stress, plant choices, and you'll have an opportunity to tour the GRuB farm and learn about what we are doing to increase resilience.

We're so grateful that Olympia Federal Savings is partnering with GRuB this month for their 2-Cent Campaign!

Every time an OlyFed customer uses their debit card this month, OlyFed will donate two cents to support GRuB's work growing healthy food, nurturing community, and empowering youth. Everyday purchases add up to make a meaningful impact.

A huge THANK YOU to the OlyFed team for showing up to volunteer. We loved having your teams building backyard food gardens alongside us at May There Be Gardens! 💚

Thanks to everyone who came out for our first Wednesday on the Farm yesterday! 🌱

It was a lovely evening spent enjoying mocktails, volunteering, participating in farm tours, and learning during our Weeds 101 workshop. We had a great time sharing this beautiful space with all of you.

We’re excited to keep these gatherings going throughout the summer. Join us on July 1 and August 5 for the next Wednesdays on the Farm, featuring live music, volunteer opportunities, workshops, and more.

See you next month!
