Mt. Rainer trip #2. Wild, constantly change cloud patterns. Had fun with a Chipmunk feeding it raw nuts. It's not recommended that people feed the wildlife, but it's a fact of life with so many people that have become as much a part of the ecology as the animals. I only feed raw nuts and seeds. Helps them stay well fed thru the winter because they store them for the deep freeze. First snow on Rainier. 2 days ago it was bare except for the glaciers and large snowfields.
