Downtown for the Holidays The Olympia Downtown Association produces a downtown extravaganza each year on the Sunday after Thanksgiving in downtown Olympia to kick off the holiday season. This event is brought to you through the generous donations of downtown businesses, sponsors, membership dues and volunteers.

Bigelow House Museum is the oldest in Olympia and one of the earliest residence standing in the Pacific Northwest. Come walk the history with their tour!

BE AWARE: Northbound Lane Closures on I-5 in Lacey tonight! 🚕

Expect late-night lane closures on I-5 in Lacey The first lane closures will begin at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 19) on northbound I-5 near Carpenter Road Southeast and will reopen the next day at 4 a.m. The Washington State Department of Transportation reports that backups could reach up to 3 miles when the first lane closes.
