PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization, which consists of parents and teachers working together to support and enrich the students. We are in need of growth and are seeking volunteers to join our organization. We plan exciting events throughout the year in hopes of expanding student enrichment activities and allow more parents to get involved in their child(ren)'s education. The PTO is a team effort which cannot succeed on its own.

We love when a staff member has a great idea and brings it to life!
Our recess teachers now have a brand new Recess Cart for sunny day fun! PTO helped get things started with chess sets, co****le, and writing tablets — giving students even more ways to play, create, connect, and enjoy recess.
One of the best parts? This is something that can continue to grow over the years as new ideas and needs arise and as fundraising dollars become available.
We’re excited to see kiddos trying something new, making friends, and having even more fun outside!

What an incredible STEAM Fair! 🎉
A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, families, and participants who helped make this event such a success. Special thanks to our event chair, EOE parent Sayward Randolph, for her leadership, dedication, and hard work in bringing everything together!
We were blown away by the creativity, innovation, and effort on display. From imaginative projects to hands-on learning, our students truly shined. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and enthusiasm to make the day so memorable! 💡

Field Day Volunteers Needed!
East Olympia Elementary School is looking for volunteers to help make Field Day a fun and successful event for our students on Thursday, June 5th!
We need help with:
• Running activity stations
• Assisting with games and events
• Helping students rotate between activities
• Setup and cleanup
Whether you can volunteer for part of the day or the entire event, your support is greatly appreciated!
Important Volunteer Information
All volunteers must:
• Have a current TSD background check completed
Tumwater School District Volunteer Application that needs to be done prior to event day.
*Please complete the application at your soonest opportunity, as it may take up to 5 business days to get approval.
• Check in at the school office upon arrival the day of

Day 3 of Staff Appreciation Week started off brewing with kindness and some yummy breakfast! ☕❤️
A huge thank you to All Seasons Espresso for coming out and treating staff to yummy drinks, along with generously donating donuts for everyone to enjoy. 🍩
We’d also like to thank the Randolph Family at Send Me a Pro Thurston County for providing a lovely breakfast for our staff this morning! ❤️
We are so grateful for the incredible support from our school community helping us celebrate the hardworking staff at East Olympia Elementary!
Reminder for tomorrow: Have your student write a note or draw a picture for a staff member such as kitchen staff, paras, recess teachers, office staff, or any staff member who makes a difference in their day!
