My minimalist kitchen dreams are really happening!! Now here’s a renovation tip I learned the hard way: if you want floating shelves in your kitchen, make that decision BEFORE drywall goes up so that they can install the hardware for them behind it. If you don’t it becomes exponentially more difficult to install them. I thought I’d just make the call at the end of the project and that little decision has been the source of quite a few headaches. In the end though- floating shelves are up and I’m a happy lady! 🤗
