The Golden Thread

The people who have placed themselves in positions of power throughout history, who fund land grabs and the massacres that make land grabs possible, who siphon off of other beings, who take and take—have no concept of what it means to embody true strength of spirit, the basis of actual power. It’s all games of war that rely completely on other people’s trauma responses to fuel their war machine. Whether that plays out as complicity or full blown violence, if they can get people to hate each other and kill each other, they can hide behind the human casualties and quench a tiny bit of their lust for power and insatiable greed.

Nothing will ever be enough to fill the void and absolute disconnect from heart and Source. Millenia of trauma passed through our cells makes clear the impact of the lineage of war. None of us are untouched by its effects. Reflection on our own shadow material here is a real gift so as not to fall into the “othering” trap, while we also very clearly name what is NOT OK.

If you find yourself fighting with your fellow earthlings about who’s right and who’s wrong—consider who benefits from the divide, consider who benefits from people hating and blaming each other. Consider what is actually happening behind the scenes of this abject horror, devastation beyond imagination for humans, animals, and our planet.

For all the wild complexity of history, we can also look at it all in a very simple way—the people “in power” benefit from creating chaos, getting the resources they want, and bouncing to feast on their poisoned bounty while we tear each other apart.

I will never support funding war. I will not accept the concept of a “just war.” I don’t care what justification people can find—where there are people in immense pain, there is a psychopath or a whole ass crew of them who can’t wait to manipulate that pain and use it to their advantage, to make people believe that in order to heal, someone else has to suffer. No. I will outcreate this old idea until my dying day.

We are capable of so much more.
