Applications for the Ivory Community Leadership Award are due February 15! Each year, the recipient of the Ivory Award will receive a cash prize of $2,000 (less taxes, etc.) along with a donation of up to $10,000 to an organization or cause of their choice.

To qualify for the Ivory Community Leadership Award, applicants must be a current student in good academic standing or an alum who has graduated within the past five years. Applications are due February 15, 2026.

Join the Center for Community Engaged Learning for this year’s Lindquist Lecture Series with WSU’s Dr. Alice Mulder. Alice will be sharing her experience with Community Engaged Learning in a lecture titled “Living in the World as if Our Lives Depend on It.”

Dr. Mulder is the 2025 Awardee of the John A Lindquist Award. The John A. Lindquist Award is given annually to a current Weber State University faculty or staff member who has demonstrated sustained and outstanding commitment to mentoring WSU students in learning through community engagement. It recognizes university-community partnerships in support of students’ learning and honors John A. Lindquist’s devotion to education and community.
