Let’s clear up a misconception right now…
Collection agencies are allowed to verify accounts for business purposes if requested properly ‼️

Now some violations took place here
I was told that if the insurance company did not call the collection agency and provide medical insurance information the account would not be deleted 😳

Collectors don’t do insurance billing
This young lady was sadly mistaken and inappropriate for telling ME that the account could not be removed without a call from insurance.

I requested a notice of dispute which was rudely ignored which is a collection violation worth $1500 without proof by law.

I requested a manager she rudely dropped the call. I called back in and received deep apologies.

Billing and insurance issue are patient liability to a certain capacity. I don’t believe patients should bounce around like a ping pong to fix errors outside the average consumers knowledge bank.
