No Halloween costumes and stopping him from eating too much candy. There will be no first day of school. No first formal. No teaching him to drive. No prom. There will be no more first. The first anything for my beloved Elijah are no longer possible. On November 16th we would have celebrated your second birthday; however, there will be no celebration because on September 10th 2014, celebrations died with my son. And I continue to die every day with every passing moment and every passing memory." Elijah Hunter may have died but his life will not have been lived in vain.
