The Goddess Ranch
We decided what we need was a Goddess Ranch, a place where each one has their own space, and there is a communal area.

My recent adventure in travel lasted 5 months and was very good, with just a few minor snags along the way. I always wanted to travel and am so glad that I can.
Health did become an issue, but that could have happened anywhere, and at any age.
I met lots of new people, made some friends and saw places old and new.
I really want to encourage you to get out there and see the world. If you are willing to open up and receive the gifts you are given, you will be surprised how welcoming people and places are. Oh sure, there are grouches out there, but they will be very much out numbered by the great people you will meet. And if you don’t like somewhere, leave. No one said you had to stay for the week you planned if after two days, you just wanted to get out of there. Okay? (Just don’t leave a group tour without letting the leader know. You have no idea how upsetting it is to the leader when we can’t find one of our people!)
I want to thank all the wonderful people who followed along with me and posted encouragement as I traveled. You made the difference on this darker days when those “snags” occurred.
You also brightened the better days, just knowing you were there, letting me hear from you, a simple smile or thumbs up really meant a lot.
I did find out some things about myself while traveling. Yes, there were deep metaphysical learnings, but I am talking about more everyday things.
1. I don’t like to be isolated in a hotel or airbnb. Luckily I realized this soon enough to correct it going forward. I switched to staying in hostels where there is a lot more interaction with your fellow travelers and I loved it. I like to think I made some friends that I will see again on our travels.
2. I don’t like amateur or beginner hosts. Too many of the Airbnb’s are being run by people who have no idea what they are doing. I have learned to be very discerning and to read between the lines of reviews. What they DON’T say is often more important than what they do say. Yes, I know everybody has to start somewhere, but not at my expense.
3. Trains and buses in Europe are fantastic. Usually on time, clean, easy to book and safe for a single woman traveler. I highly recommend the apps OMIO and Road2Rio for plotting your courses. (I wish I could say the same about trains and buses in Egypt. I think they are safe, but OMG the hassle in getting them ticketed and schedules are very difficult. You can use them, but bring lots of patience.)
4. We all know what planes are like these days. Use them when you have to. I have decided to only carry luggage I can carry on the plane going forward. And I will also use trains, buses, ferries and cars over planes.
I have some individual thanks I want to post, with additional recommendations but I will post those separately and individually.
Thanks again and hope you will join me on my next trip. I have a return ticket to Dublin the end of April, and hope to use it.
