Penelope the anaconda, forty-five pounds long,
Wrapped around sweet Danny while the market rolled along.
She smelled Feraco’s cannolis and flicked her tongue with grace,
Like, “Move aside, good people… I require a taste.”

Danny laughed and held her while the crowd began to stare,
At the snake who loved cannolis more than anyone there. 🐍🍰😄
