According to Hollywood insiders, Disney is fast-tracking a modern sequel with a brilliant Undercover Boss twist. The plot allegedly follows Queen Mia (Hathaway) facing a massive modern crisis: Genovia’s economy is threatened by a fast-growing tech monopoly. Guided by the wise Dowager Queen Clarisse (Andrews) and protected by Joe (Elizondo), Mia has to ditch her royal gowns, put on a fake identity, and apply as a low-level intern at a chaotic Silicon Valley startup to find a way to save her country from bankruptcy.
