Watching the shop for me

Oh, look, it’s me…

A couple updates:
- I will be exhibiting at the Tennessee Rare Book Fair this weekend (details in my Story)
- I will be doing a pop up sales event August 9th on the porch of our new shop in Occoquan (details also in Story)
- We start building shelves tomorrow morning and are hoping to open the store late September
- I haven’t met our shop ghosts yet but am looking forward to it, especially the ghost cat Jinx
- The website is stocked with tons of great books and the store will not slow down the online business, so please stick around even if you’re not in the DC area! I won’t be abandoning all my great online customers :-)

This will be our “secret” kids corner behind the stairs and will be stocked with (non-rare) kids books to entertain little ones while parents shop. We will hang some fun lights, have a bookshelf against the back wall (so no one can go under the stairs!), and cushions. A bookstore should be fun for the whole family!
