24 hour Emergency Youth Shelter for children ages 10-17 who are runaways, lockouts, homeless, truant or experiencing parent/child conflict. We also operate two Foster Care group homes for six boys and six girls which focus on the physical and emotional well-being of individual clients, and teach methods for sustaining basic life skills aimed at fostering self-sufficiency. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all the educators out there!
This week, we are celebrating Lashelle, our education and recreation coordinator. Did you know that when clients stay at our emergency shelter, they still attend school onsite? Lashelle is the person who contacts teachers about assignments, answers the kids' questions, and coordinates after-school activities!
