The Ever Forward Club
to create communities of students who are setting and achieving their personal goals, inside and outside the classroom.
A speaker stood in front of a room full of students and asked a direct question.
Have you experienced something tough in your life that people donโt know about?
Many hands went up.
That moment reveals something important. A large number of young people are carrying challenges that remain unseen by the people around them.
He then shared his story.
He lost someone he looked up to. Someone who appeared strong on the outside, but was struggling internally with depression and isolation. That struggle ultimately led to su***de.
That experience is why he does this work.
To remind young people that they are not alone, even when it feels that way. To make it clear that people do care, and that what they are carrying deserves to be spoken, not hidden.
Too often, young people suffer quietly because they do not feel safe enough to share what they are going through.
This is why creating spaces for honest conversation is critical.
The Young Menโs Conference 2026 is designed to create those spaces. Environments where young men can be real about what they are experiencing and receive the support they need.

At June Jordan High School, Antwone, a Young Menโs Health Group facilitator with the Ever Forward Club, spoke to the young men with clarity and intention.
He told them he hopes they find a community where they can open up, where they do not have to hold everything inside, where they can be real without being judged. Then he made it clear that this group is meant to be that space. What is shared here is confidential. What is said here stays here. That kind of trust is not assumed. It is built.
Then he shifted the room.
He told them something many young men do not hear often enough. It takes one mistake to change your life. One decision that can close doors, shift your future, and follow you longer than you expect.
So make the right choice.
That message lands differently when it comes from someone who is not speaking down to them, but speaking directly to who they are becoming.
This is what young men need. Not just support, but truth. Not just encouragement, but accountability inside a space that actually holds them.
That is what the Young Menโs Conference 2026 is built to create.
A room where young men are surrounded by people who will tell them the truth, stand with them, and challenge them to make decisions that align with who they want to become.
Parents, mentors, educators, coaches, this is not optional. This is necessary.

In 5th grade his principal announced there had been a threat of a school shooting.
His classmates said "it's not that deep bro."
But it was deep to him.
He carried that.
Years later he's sitting in the Taking Off The Mask workshop that brought to and he's finally saying it out loud for the first time.
That's what this work does.
It gives young men a place to put down what they've been carrying alone.
Young men are not broken. They are unheard.
Give him the room. November 14th, Oakland.
