Two weeks ago I had a hip replacement. Just found out a few months ago I have Hip Dysplasia. I had no idea what that was. The doctor explained to me that it's a condition where your hip joint doesn't fit how it should. The crazy part, he explained to me that from the MRI prior to the surgery, he could see that I was born with it on both sides. My left side was just really bad. Due to how i was positioned in my mom's womb. I've had it my whole life and never knew. I was pi**ed!!! I'm not gon lie. Just turning 40 and still being very young and active I thought, "damn, why me?". Having to go through a procedure that mainly elderly people go through. While sitting in that hospital bed God checked me. He reminded me there are people who are born with no limbs. There are people who experience accidents at a young age who aren't able to ever walk again. HE told me, "You were born with something out of your control, and I allowed you to still accomplish and experience things in life that people with two good hips never do. Now I'm in the process of learning how to walk again. Yes, it's annoying. Yes, it's painful. Haven't slept comfortably since my surgery. It's days I just wanna throw my walker across the room. Days I break down crying from the discomfort and being so frustrated. Thinking to myself, "another hurdle I have to get over". But God keeps speaking to me through all of this saying, "this season I have you in, is for realignment". Not just for your body, but for the breakthrough of where I'm taking you in life. I'll share more soon, but wanted to share this for today! I know my testimony will be something so powerful, those tears of sadness will turn to tears of joy. And God will get ALL the glory.
