Know:Audio provided sound for the Moon Stage at the Texas Eclipse festival with a massive rig from Danley Sound Labs. Unleashed on the unsuspecting audience, it has garnered rave reviews from performers and attendees alike. The system provided clear and and even coverage, and pummeled the willing audience with effortless sub-30Hz low end; easily handling peak crowds of over 8000 people.
Thanks to Danley's Synergy Horn technology, the system was precise and consistent throughout the event, even during windy conditions when most sound systems suffer. And with the rear rejection provided by Danley's Boundary Coupled horn-loaded subwoofers and Synergy Horns, sound was directed into the audience instead of the stage and sensitive areas of the festival and surrounding community. Another huge advantage of this system was the incredibly efficient power draw. On average, the system was pulled roughly 3000 watts from the wall, a truly green audio solution.
System consists of J3-94's for mains, SH96HO's for downfill, SH46 for outfill, SM96 and SH110 for lip fill, and J7's for delays. Low end provided by 16 BC215's and a pair of BC218's. DJ monitors are SH46 over TH118. Mixing by Allen&Heath dLive, and processing and amplification by Powersoft X8 and T series amps. Over a quarter million watts on tap!
This is a perfect example of how Danley's point source horn technology can handle large-scale touring sound reinforcement, with a system that deploys quickly while going easy on logistics and power draw.

RC Audio's new product Basswatch is now in stock and ready to ship. Basswatch is very similar to the Leveliza, but it only works on frequencies below 100Hz, providing gain-controlled bass response free of pumping or compression, and allows the engineer to focus on other things besides chasing level changes caused by sloppy mixing or mastering.
