While nearly 79% of California TK-12 students are students of color, only about 30% of school leaders share that background. is helping close that gap by creating pathways for diverse and culturally responsive educators to step into leadership roles across the state, strengthening school culture, improving educator retention, and helping students feel seen and supported. ✨

California must continue investing in programs like DELPI by including funding in the state budget. 🏫

COMMENTARY: It’s time to make California’s education system work better for our kids In 1919, the California Special Committee on Education identified that our education governance system was in desperate need of reform. We finally have a chance to reform it to better address our students’ needs.
