We’re honored to share that Hack the Hood has been selected as a recipient of the Golden State Valkyries Free Throws For Futures Grant this summer! 🏀

Presented by the PG&E Corporation Foundation, Free Throws For Futures utilizes each Golden State Valkyries free throw make to generate a $500 donation to benefit the Golden State Community Foundation and, ultimately, education-focused nonprofits in Alameda and San Francisco counties.

For Hack the Hood, that support fuels our work training early-career youth and communities of color through tech skill-building programs grounded in justice and career navigation that ensures economic mobility. Every made free throw this season helps open a door for the next generation of Bay Area technologists.
