Check out these photos from a recent carnival-themed Memory Café hosted by Aging Care Connections at Central Baptist Village in Norridge. Memory Cafes are no-cost social gatherings where people living with dementia and their care partners can meet others and enjoy time together!

Memory Cafes are taking place all over suburban Cook County with some offering virtual attendance options and/or translation services for participants with diverse language needs (Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Hindi, Urdu, Gujrati and more depending on café location!).

June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month.

More than a quarter of family caregivers are supporting someone living with Alzheimer's, dementia, or another memory-related condition, often while managing some of the most emotionally and physically demanding parts of caregiving.

If that's you, please know you are not alone.
Visit AgeOptions.org or connect directly with the Alzheimer's Association (800-272-3900) or Caregiving in the U.S. for support and resources.
