Crushing SL squats at 70yrs young!

Move outta the way leg press- SL squats not only strengthen extension fibers of the glutes, quads, and hammis, but enhance integration of our pelvic stabilizers (core, glute max/med/min, adductors) with ankle/foot stabilizers

Great example of what consistent, functional movement and strengthening can do for you over the course of your life!

A little update on our conservatively managed (non-operative) full thickness achilles rupture.

Tendons are amazing visco-elastic connective tissue/fascia that needs to be loaded in a variety of ways.

(Yes he did start some entry level running about 2 weeks ago, but I want it to be prettier before we show it off haha)
