On 8 October 2018, a portion of the Sisters’ Regina Assumpta College in Cap Haïtien, Haiti was severely damaged by a bulldozer on the orders of a departmental official, ostensibly to unblock a waste-water canal of the city. The threat of further demolition remains. The Sisters are calling on Haiti’s national government to intervene in this situation on their behalf.

In solidarity with them, the Holy Cross International Justice Office is circulating a petition in support of their requests. Once signatures are gathered, signed petitions will be sent to various government officials in Haiti and beyond.
