🍊 Aperol Spritz Trifle! 🍰 This fun and unique dessert is the perfect way to hang on to the last days of summer! Whether you're back from a trip to Italy or just dreaming of one, this easy treat will bring a taste of sunshine to your next gathering. ☀️🍾
Ingredients:
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding
- ½ cup Prosecco
- Orange zest
- 5 tbsp Aperol
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 tbsp confectioners' sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup apricot preserves
- 6 oranges
Directions:
1. Prepare the cake mix, swapping ½ cup water for Prosecco, and adding orange zest. Bake as cupcakes, then slice in half.
2. Make pudding, mix with Aperol, and chill.
3. Whip cream with sugar and vanilla; chill.
4. Mix apricot preserves with Aperol.
5. Layer pudding, orange slices, cupcake halves, cream, and jam in glasses. Garnish with orange slices and enjoy! 😋🍊
