hmm... well let's just blame the lack of updates on a shorted internet connection wire that prevented the hippos of uploading anything and you know, because hippos have big hands, they can't easily put duct tape on tiny wires... oh, and Happy Year of the Snake everyone!

the Village Elder is off to a two-month adventure in Shanghai China where he may end up drawing some hippos. stay tuned for an update in late october and eventually more regular updates (that's probably going to be a tired running joke here) :)
