The call to love is sometimes difficult, but it’s a reminder of how God loves us: relentlessly, completely, and without expectation of return. Jesus tells us that the greatest commandment is to love one another. A distinguishing feature of Christians should be their love for one another. God’s word tells us to be merciful to our enemies and to ultimately love them despite what they may have done to us. Our reward will be great!

Togetherness is essential for our faith to grow and relationships to thrive. Being kind and serving gladly are tremendously important skills as followers of Christ. We all are sharpened and improved by the interactions and examples of our peers. We need to look for opportunities to pick others up when they stumble.
