📍 Location: Emergi-Pet
🕒 Position: Full-Time / Part-Time
💲 Pay: Experience-Based
🌙 Evenings & Weekends Required (we are NOT open weekday days)

About the Role:
Emergi-Pet is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Emergency Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for pet owners during urgent situations, you’ll play a vital role in delivering timely, empathetic, and professional care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist clients with a warm, professional attitude
• Answer phone calls and emails; assist with emergency scheduling
• Stay calm and efficient in high-stress situations
• Collect and manage client/patient information and medical history
• Maintain accurate records in veterinary software
• Keep reception area clean and organized
• Answer questions about care, treatment plans, and billing
• Process payments and assist with insurance claims
• Support the veterinary team with additional administrative tasks

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus)
• Experience in customer service or reception (vet/medical preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Basic veterinary knowledge is helpful but not required
• Comfortable with computers and data entry
• Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays required)
