Authentico Tequila

“Additive-free” gets thrown around a lot these days... but what does it actually mean?

I’m breaking it down as simply as I can because it doesn’t have to be complicated.

At the end of the day, tequila should only be made with 3 simple ingredients:

1.) Water
2.) Agave
3.) Yeast

That’s it.

Could I go way deeper into fermentation, distillation, and all the additives that are legally allowed in tequila? Absolutely. But if you’re just trying to know what belongs in your glass, it’s really this simple.

If anything else is being added to “improve” the flavor, color, or texture... I’m not drinking it.

Meet Santiago.

As one of the sons of our Master Distiller, Santiago oversees our agave fields and compost operation. His work is at the heart of our commitment to regenerative agriculture and protecting the land for future generations.

For us, regenerative farming is about more than growing organic agave—it’s about restoring the ecosystem. Great organic tequila starts long before harvest. It begins with healthy soil, thriving biodiversity, and giving back more than we take.

By transforming organic materials into nutrient-rich compost and allowing our agave to flourish naturally, we’re building healthier soil, stronger plants, and a more resilient ecosystem for generations to come.

There was no elaborate campaign or creative direction. Just one camera, a few team members, and a chance to show you where the magic happens.
