Domingo has been fighting to heal for months. Now, his wound is almost completely closed—and he needs a foster or adopter. ❤️

Domingo came to us from Mexico severely emaciated, battling mange, and recovering from heartworm treatment. Shortly after, a painful area developed on his back that became necrotic and turned into a massive, infected open wound.

The infection was highly resistant to antibiotics, and Domingo endured months of intensive treatment—procedures, drains, powerful medications, twice-daily bandage changes, surgery, and more than a few setbacks.

But Domingo kept fighting. ❤️

Today, his wound is almost completely closed, and we desperately want him to finish this journey outside of the shelter.

He has spent enough time being a patient. Now he deserves to be someone’s dog. 🥹
Domingo is looking for a foster or adopter who can give him a comfortable place to land and help him start the next chapter of his life.
