Emerging America
Our program offers a variety of high-quality professional development programs for K-12 teachers throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We are funded in part by a Teaching American History grant from the U.S. We are also a member of the Teaching with Primary Sources consortium, a program of the Library of Congress. We focus primarily on critical thinking, working with primary sources, and integration of the Common Core in K-12 classrooms.

November 21 - CES - Northampton, Massachusetts
Workshop leader Alice Levine says: Explore how we can bring stories about segregation and civil rights struggles that occurred in the North, West and Midwest into our teaching. We will share examples and discuss ideas while browsing books and materials for use with students this school year.
