e she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and was a DJ for the school’s radio station, WHRW. Nece used her talent for poetry to record PSAs for the station and to help with her sorority’s step shows. A couple of years after college, Nece moved to Southern California. This move, coupled with having a baby boy a few years later, put her on a healing journey that inspired her to write and share some of her love poems that are now included in Love Notes. This book of love notes is the author’s gift of healing for all who want to start their healing journey or enrich the one they are currently on by writing love notes to themselves. Nece has over 25 years of experience in wellness and holistic medicine. Her background includes aromatherapy, massage therapy, reflexology, and reiki and crystal healing. In addition, she is a teacher of Kundalini Yoga. Merging her wellness background with her writing gives Nece an opportunity to help and heal more people. Her teachings on journaling and meditation help with relaxation and self-care, empowering people so they can maintain good health.
