bond and sense of trust with our staff. Our staff are all trained in the Pyramid Model which has an emphasis on the social emotional development of each individual child. Our center is also an active participant in Step Up to Quality, Nebraska’s childcare quality rating system. We focus on providing a supportive environment through developmentally appropriate curriculum in each classroom. Children are taught expectations and routines through a consistent daily schedule that they are a part of planning each day. Our classrooms are inviting and offer multiple opportunities to learn new skills and use acquired skills through play-based learning. Play based learning is based on the concept that children choose what to explore that day and have a wide variety of items available to them to experiment with. We also believe in providing a nurturing environment where children are loved and respected. In May of 2020, we were excited to enter into a partnership agreement with North Platte Public Schools. This enabled us to expand our capacity and relocate to Osgood Elementary School. We are hoping that this will assist with transportation issues families utilizing the Osgood Preschool class may have when school starts in the fall.
