Happy Disability Pride Month!
This month is a reminder of the hard work generations of Disabled advocates have put in to get us all to this moment. It’s a chance to take in and take on all the work ahead to not lose ground. And a rally to celebrate ourselves for exact who we are. July is for PRIDE in the Disabled identity.

Happy Disability Independence Day!

Celebrating the 34th birthday of the Americans with Disabilities Act, today is a day to recognize all that the ADA has done - and all that is left to do to promote true independence and accessibility for the Disability Community!

Don't forget: the existence of the ADA is one thing... enforcement of the ADA is a-whole-nother thing! Speak up and support access because -
An ACCESSIBLE world is a universally BETTER world.

"The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990 by President George H.W. Bush. Throughout the year and on the ADA Anniversary (July 26), the ADA National Network recognizes this landmark event and the important work to promote equal opportunity for people with disabilities." (ADATA.org)
