This summer, Steven Reardon ’27 is gaining hands-on experience in both research and health care, splitting his time between an internship at Merrimack’s Shared Instrumentation and Research Facility and working as a medical assistant.

Becca Cotton ’26 is on her way to a career in music therapy! A double major in psychology and music, she credits her Merrimack experience with helping connect her passions to a career she’s dreamed about since high school.
Through an internship at CREST Collaborative, she designed and led music therapy interventions for students with autism spectrum disorder and social-emotional challenges.
Since graduating in May, she has begun coursework at Purdue University Fort Wayne's music therapy program and is preparing to work as a music teacher and music therapist-in-training this fall, bringing her one step closer to becoming a board-certified music therapist.
