I am expanding my knowledge and reach with workforce at National Association of Workforce Boards National Forum 2026 “Ignite. Innovate. Impact.”
As Chief Local Elected Official for Oklahoma’s Workforce Board (34 counties, 33,500 sq miles), attending workshops & breakouts on scaling apprenticeships (EV, clean tech, trades), AI in workforce development (ChatGPT policy, productivity, data tools), and breaking barriers (disabilities, reentry, youth, mental health).
The Networking with officials & business leaders nationwide on what they are doing and discussing best practices is invaluable. Board members and staff from several Oklahoma Workforce Board from Oklahoma are attending. The local workforce boards work with local businesses and people that have barriers to meaningful employment for training programs to development a strong labor force for Oklahoma
