Common Core State Standards Web Links Now Available!

The Mid-Continent Comprehensive Center (MC3) is proud to announce its Common Core State Standards Web Links are now available on the MC3 website at www.mc3edsupport.org. MC3’s Web Links are topical collections of web resources compiled as easy-to-access central points of information for educators. MC3’s Common Core State Standards Web Links are available to the public and include links to state resources, support for teachers and parents, and information on implementation, assessment, funding resources, and equity issues.

All four of the states in MC3’s region have adopted CCSS, and MC3 is supporting them as they work toward full implementation. According to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) Initiative website, CCSS “is a state-led effort coordinated by the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) and the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO). The standards were developed in collaboration with teachers, school administrators, and experts, to provide a clear and consistent framework to prepare our children for college and the workforce.”
