Motoplayground Oklahoma Roots Tour Round 2 at Oklahoma Motorsports Complex:

Not the results I was hoping for this weekend, but still a great time at the track. The layout was awesome and the vibes were high all around. Huge shoutout to Rodney, Coby, and the entire crew for putting together such a great track, and to everyone who came out—awesome turnout for racing!

Sunday 65 (7-9): 9-10-10

Rolled out of Round 1 of the with P2 in 65 open and P2 in 65 (7-9). The track was fun- the wind and rain was not. Overall, it was an awesome weekend 🏁🤘🏼.

MX was rained out, so my buddy Boone and I went and ran 65A in Round 1 of Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association at Sugar Creek. Unfortunately, I was taken out a couple times by a racer in another class, but the track was fun and it felt good to ride! P2 for the day. It was great getting to see all my XC buddies!

Round 1- Motoplayground Roots Tour at Reynard Raceway
This weekend came with some highs and lows. I didn’t get the overall results I wanted, but we’re working hard to get there. The track was fast and fun!

Saturday: 65 Open (29 racers)
M1: Decent start, ran pretty good and finished p-9
M2: Terrible start and finished p-14
OA: 13

Sunday: 65 (7-9) (20 racers)
M1: Pretty good start, finished p-7
M2: Pretty good start, running in 5th then went down. Finished p-12
OA: 10

Mistakes were made and lessons were learned. I’m eager to get back to work before Round 2 at OMC!

Thank you to the awesome moto moms who filled in this weekend! You all rock! Thank you to the best Moto Memo Pam Guest for making sure I was fed and hydrated all weekend!
