The moment before should never be overlooked.
If you don’t know where you are coming from, how do you expect to get where you are going?
Take a moment before you start a scene and ask yourself. What was I doing right before this? Where am I coming from, emotionally or physically?
These simple questions can drastically change your scene work. Never skip the work that seems simple.
