The Cleveland County Health Improvement Plan Substance Abuse Coalition (CCHIP) is hosting a DEA Medication and Sharps Takeback Event happening on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, from 10 am -2pm at no cost. We have three awesome locations that include the Cleveland County Health Department -Norman, the Cleveland County Health Department- Moore, and the Absentee Shawnee Little Axe Health Center. If you or a family member have old or unused medication and sharps that you want to dispose of, please come out to the Cleveland County Health Department locations and the Absentee Shawnee Little Axe Health Center to dispose of them! We are also giving out free lock boxes, home medication disposal kits, and naloxone to anyone who needs them. Join US!
